Introduction & Background

Jhpiego is an international nonprofit affiliated with Johns Hopkins University that has been working in Pakistan since 1997, focusing on improving maternal and newborn health, family planning, reproductive health, and infectious disease control through technical training, capacity building, and health system strengthening. The organization implements large-scale projects, often with international funding like USAID and UNFPA, to expand the availability of high-quality health services and train health workers to meet the needs of women and families, particularly in underserved regions.

OBLIGATION FOR AUCTIONEERS/INDIVIDUAL TAX PAYERS/FIRMS

(i)               Auction Stores shall not be sold out to any other humanitarian organization inside or outside the country.

(ii)             Use of any type of unfair mean for award of contract shall be considering strict violation of JHPIEGO rules and will lead to disqualification from bidding process without any notice to auctioneer.

(iii)            Auction Stores shall not be sold out in open market along with any logo of the Jhpiego or any other identity mark.

(iv)            Winning Auctioneer will be responsible for removing all visibilities of JHPIEGO, i.e logo, stickers etc. in presence of JHPIEGO staff before lifting the material.   

(v)             Release Order (RO) shall only be issued once 100% payment is made in favor of  “JHPIEGO CORPORATION” by the bank transfer. No cross cheque, Pay order will be accepted.  

(vi)            As per the policy, all laptops and mobile phones will be delivered without any Hard Drive and memory card.

(vii)          Auction Stores are available for sale on “AS IS WHERE IS” basis. Jhpiego will not take any responsibility for functionality and compatibility of any IT material after award of release order to the winning bidder.

(viii)         Bidder must quote their offer for complete lot, instead of individual item. However, items marked as individual identity (if any) can be quoted as an individual item.

Following Terms and Conditions shall apply to all participating Auctioneers/Individuals Tax Payer/Firms:-

• All Firms should submit 5% of total bid value as earnest money in advance (Returnable to unsuccessful bidders) in shape of Pay order on the name of “Jhpiego Corporation” which will be returned to unsuccessful bidders on final decision about the bids.
• Winning Firm shall deposit balance amount of bid within Five (05) working days in shape of pay order otherwise earnest money shall be confiscated. 
• Winning Firm shall clear the Site within 15 days from the date of RO.
• All Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked on TOP RIGHT CORNOR                 “ Bids for Auction of Stores” latest by 17th April 2026.  
• Bids should be submitted through courier/by hand at below mentioned address. Late Bids will not be entertained.           Addressed to:-

• JHPIEGO will not take any responsibility of stores after lifting the stores from warehouse regarding its condition, weight, sizes etc.
• Prevailing applicable tax will be applied. Tax shall be paid extra along with bid value which will be deposited in Government Treasury by JHPIEGO Finance Department, however paid Tax Challan voucher shall be provided to winning party (if required).

• All Prices are to be quoted in lot wise instead of single items choice.
• All items can be examined by sending advance email on the provided email (one day in advance) Focal Person for issuance of written permission will be Operations & Security Manager. 
• No Memory Card, Hard Drive will be provided with IT equipment.
• Stores can be examined during working hours (09:30 to 16:30) at JHPIEGO Warehouses, located at the following address: -
