Position Objective: To establish, manage, and maintain information management systems and databases that ensure timely, accurate, and reliable data collection, analysis, reporting, and knowledge sharing across all components of the multi sectoral integrated project. The role strengthens evidence based decision making, accountability, and coordination among partners, government stakeholders, and field teams.
Relevant Experience: Master’s in Information Science, Social Sciences, IT, or related field with Minimum 04 years of overall experience and 02 years in relevant field in development sector OR Bachelor's degree in relevant field with minimum 06 years overall experience with 04 years in relevant field in development sector
Job Description:
Mission 1: Ensure effective information and data management:
- Strengthen the data capacity of health facility, outreach, and partner teams to ensure accurate and timely data acquisition from both health facilities and outreach activities. Maintain clean, consistent, and reliable project data across all facilities and outreach operations.
- Regularly update and clean datasets, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely, accurate, and comprehensive reporting to PM, DOH and stakeholders.
- Implement standardized data collection tools, formats aligned with project needs and maintain secure data storage systems ensuring confidentiality and compliance with safeguarding policies.
- Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for PM, partners, and stakeholders and ensure consistency and quality of reported data across all sectors.
- Archive project data in line with organizational SOPs.
Mission 2: Provide technical and operational oversight for knowledge management
- Conduct frequent field visits to health facilities and outreach sites to monitor data practices.
- Support health facility and outreach staff in proper data collection, record keeping, and reporting.
- Establish standardized data collection practices across all project locations.
- Provide hands on training to staff on data collection, record keeping, and data management systems.
- Coordinate closely with partner data officers to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
- Facilitate data sharing and reporting with relevant stakeholders when required.
- Track referral pathways and maintain referral databases.
- Ensure integration of data across health, nutrition, protection, and WASH components.
- Strengthen data capacity of health facility, outreach, and partner head office teams.
Mission 3: Ensure compliance and safeguarding in information management
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies on Child Protection, Safeguarding, and PSEAH.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive data.
- Promote gender equity, inclusion, and child protection sensitivity in all KM practices.
- Ensure that data systems reflect the needs of diverse staff and beneficiaries.
Skills Required:
- Willingness to travel frequently to field locations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong experience with MIS/database systems (online/offline).
- Ability to troubleshoot data systems and resolve technical issues.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with digital data collection tools.
- Fluency in English, Urdu, and Pashto.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Understanding of child protection, safeguarding, PSEAH, health, nutrition, MHPSS, and referral systems.
- Knowledge of community based interventions and outreach models.
