Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop research tools and questionnaires for Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) in line with project objectives on environmental justice, peacebuilding, and women’s empowerment.
  • Conduct a baseline assessment through desk review, FGDs, and KIIs, and prepare a comprehensive Baseline Assessment Report capturing conflict dynamics, climate-related challenges, grievance mechanisms, and women’s roles.
  • Conduct an endline assessment using FGDs and KIIs (preferably with baseline participants) and prepare a detailed Endline Assessment Report documenting changes, outcomes, and community perceptions.
  • Prepare a consolidated Pre- and Post-Project Analysis, synthesizing baseline and endline findings to assess project effectiveness, results, and lessons learned.
  • Apply appropriate qualitative and quantitative research approaches to ensure analytical rigor, triangulation of findings, and evidence-based conclusions.
  • Jointly prepare and finalize all project deliverable reports in close coordination with the Communication Officers and field coordinators, ensuring analytical accuracy, narrative coherence, and compliance with donor reporting and visibility standards.
  • Perform any other task required for the effective project implementation.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Environmental Science, Gender Studies or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in research/M&E.
  • Minimum 02 year of experience of data analysis/report writing
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills.
