Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Master Trainer in Dress Making & Embroidery to support the Master Trainer in leading the training and development of our students/trainees in the art of dress making and embroidery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Master Trainer in designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs in dress making and embroidery.
- Support the development and maintenance of training materials, manuals, and resources.
- Provide training, guidance, and capacity-building support to students/trainees under the supervision of the Master Trainer.
- Assist in delivering training sessions using various methods, including demonstration, hands-on practice, and one-on-one mentoring.
- Support the evaluation of prospective students' aptitude, skills, and academic background through comprehensive assessments.
- Assist in evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback to improve their skills.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support the development and implementation of training programs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Assist in preparing and submitting regular narrative reports (monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual) to management.
- Support the organization of project-related events; opening & closing ceremonies with representation of all stakeholders.
- Provide technical assistance and mentorship to selected beneficiaries, empowering them to transform innovative startup ideas into viable and sustainable businesses.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Dress Making, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2-3 years) in dress making, embroidery, and training.
- Strong knowledge of dress making and embroidery techniques.
- Excellent teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in dress making, embroidery, or fashion design.
- Experience working in the fashion industry or a related field.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships.
- Ability to work creatively, effectively, and innovatively.
