Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Master Trainer in Dress Making & Embroidery to support the Master Trainer in leading the training and development of our students/trainees in the art of dress making and embroidery.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Master Trainer in designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs in dress making and embroidery.
  • Support the development and maintenance of training materials, manuals, and resources.
  • Provide training, guidance, and capacity-building support to students/trainees under the supervision of the Master Trainer.
  • Assist in delivering training sessions using various methods, including demonstration, hands-on practice, and one-on-one mentoring.
  • Support the evaluation of prospective students' aptitude, skills, and academic background through comprehensive assessments.
  • Assist in evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback to improve their skills.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support the development and implementation of training programs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting regular narrative reports (monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual) to management.
  • Support the organization of project-related events; opening & closing ceremonies with representation of all stakeholders.
  • Provide technical assistance and mentorship to selected beneficiaries, empowering them to transform innovative startup ideas into viable and sustainable businesses.

Qualification & Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Dress Making, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2-3 years) in dress making, embroidery, and training.
  • Strong knowledge of dress making and embroidery techniques.
  • Excellent teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in dress making, embroidery, or fashion design.
  • Experience working in the fashion industry or a related field.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships.
  • Ability to work creatively, effectively, and innovatively.
