About :

A national non-profit organization operating in Pakistan, is looking for a qualified, dedicated and experienced individual to fill the position of Project Coordinator based inits Nowshehra-KP office.

Project Coordinator :

The project coordinator will be responsible for overall management and supervision of the project activities. She will be responsible for the coordination with the stake holders at the field level.

She will be responsible for the sharing of clear and proper relevant project information/ feedback and reports with the head office. She may facilitate project teams visits and coordination with the Project committees.

Functional Responsibilities and Duties :

  • The Project Coordinator reports to the Head of Programme at the Head Office.

  • Execute project implementation and periodic plans in line with approved project documents.

  • Lead community liaison and engagement, including village assessments and SHG (Self-Help Group) formation.

  • Oversee data collection, compilation, and analysis for assessments, surveys, and reporting.

  • Manage day-to-day project operations using sound managerial practices and tools.

  • Implement, and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for project activities.

  • Ensure effective monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of project progress and quality.

  • Facilitate formation, training, capacity building, and sustainability of SHGs.

  • Provide technical support and mentor-ship to project staff and SHG members.

  • Represent the organization with local stakeholders and maintain strong coordination.

  • Ensure compliance with legal, organizational, and ethical standards at the field level.

  • Implement safeguarding and PSEAH policies and ensure proper reporting mechanisms.

  • Lead administrative functions and maintain accurate documentation of project activities.

  • Communicate risks and updates regularly to the Line Manager and support resolution.

  • Prepare timely and quality reports (daily to annual) and support planning processes.

  • Organize training, workshops, and community engagement events.

  • Manage project resources effectively, ensuring cost-efficient and outcome-focused delivery.

  • Coordinate with Finance, HR, Admin, and Security teams for smooth operations.

  • Handle conflicts professionally and foster a collaborative team environment.

  • Maintain confidentiality and seek approval before any external communications.

  • Support monitoring visits and assist in recruitment of community facilitators as needed.

Skills :

The ideal candidate should be community-focused, a strong communicator, and an effective coordinator. Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and proficiency in report writing, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. Adaptability to complex environments, along with strong interpersonal and analytical skills, is essential.

Qualification :

Master degree in Social Sciences or equivalent in the related subject.

Experience :

At least 3 years experience in team leading.
