Position Overview

To support our growing operations, we are looking for a qualified and motivated Senior Officer – Financial Operations to join our Shared Services Center in the CBM Country Office, Pakistan.

This is a part-time position (20 hours/week) and is to be filled locally under the contractual terms of the respective country. Expatriation is not foreseen for this role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Operations & Service Delivery

  • Develop and implement shared services models that enhance operational efficiency and business performance across units.

  • Ensure timely, complete, and accurate processing of all financial transactions and administrative tasks in the Shared Services Center.

  • Uphold financial discipline through the application of robust compliance checks and internal controls.

  • Support Country Offices in regularly updating and maintaining their accounting records to ensure data integrity and reliability of financial systems.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Strong service-oriented mindset and the ability to build effective customer relationships.

  • Proactive in driving and supporting change initiatives.

  • Solution-focused approach with sound decision-making abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.

  • Thorough understanding of team-specific processes, systems, and relevant applications.

  • Advanced skills in data management and financial systems.

  • A degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a related field.

  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role, preferably with an international development organisation.

  • Proficiency in English is essential.
