Job Summary:
The Programme Coordinator (PC) will oversee the field implementation of project activities, staff supervision, stakeholder coordination, and reporting to the head office. The role includes technical and operational support in designing and monitoring small construction schemes, ensuring effective delivery aligned with donor requirements, particularly under PPAF-supported climate resilience and social service projects.
Qualification & Experience:
- Master's degree in Social Sciences or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination or team leadership.
- Experience with community-based programming and small-scale infrastructure.
- Strong skills in planning, problem-solving, team management, and reporting.
- Familiarity with PPAF guidelines and climate-resilient development preferred.
Job Description:
Objective 1: Project Implementation & Oversight:
- Lead implementation of activities as per project proposal, timeline, and budget.
- Coordinate field teams and ensure achievement of deliverables, including women's empowerment, DRR, livelihoods, and resilience-building initiatives.
- Support in designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of small infrastructure ensuring quality, climate adaptation, and beneficiary involvement.
Objective 2: Coordination, Visibility & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with HOprogram teams for planning, support, and compliance.
- Ensure regular coordination with district officials, local authorities, and community committees.
- Represent SCF in local forums, networks, and coordination platforms.

- Supervise M&E activities, surveys, and data collection.
- Conduct field visits, review staff reports, and ensure high-quality documentation.
- Compile progress reports for HOand donors (including mid-term and final reports).

- Ensure field-level spending aligns with approved budgets and donor guidelines.
- Coordinate with finance and logistics teams for procurement, disbursement, and asset use.
- Support the preparation and review of financial reports and ensure compliance.
Objective 5: Capacity Building & Team Support:
- Identify staff training needs and coordinate technical support from HO teams.
- Facilitate orientation sessions on program objectives, community mobilization, and construction oversight.
Objective 6: Documentation & Complaint Handling:
- Maintain complete field records (beneficiary lists, construction logs, reports).
- Oversee the implementation of complaint and feedback mechanisms in project areas.
- Promote awareness of SCF's Code of Conduct and Protection Policy among staff and communities.
Accountability & Authority:
Accountable for assigned duties, resource use, staff supervision, and compliance with organizational and donor policies. Exercises delegated authority as per organizational hierarchy.
