Relevant Experience:
- Minimum intermediate education; Bachelor's degree preferred in Social Sciences, Education, or Community Development.
- Experience working in field-based roles, preferably with refugees or vulnerable communities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
- Basic understanding of gender, protection, and mental health issues.
- Fluency in local languages; Pashto or Dari knowledge is an asset.
Job Description:
- Conduct regular field visits to engage with communities, identify needs, and mobilise participation for project activities.
- Support implementation of community-based sessions such as art therapy, healing circles, awareness drives, and self-defence training.
- Facilitate group discussions, youth clubs, and feedback sessions to ensure inclusive participation (with a focus on women, youth, and vulnerable groups).
- Identify and support local volunteers, community leaders, and teachers in mobilisation efforts.
- Assist in organising and conducting teacher trainings, student sessions, and cultural events.
- Ensure that communication materials and session invitations reach the right participants on time.
- Maintain clear documentation of attendance, session feedback, and community insights.
- Support MEAL processes by assisting in data collection and basic monitoring tools.
- Coordinate logistics at field level for session setup, refreshments, and safe space arrangements.
- Report any protection concerns or sensitive issues raised during sessions to the Program Officer.
The Community Mobiliser will work closely with communities, especially refugee and marginalised groups, to build trust, increase participation in project activities, and ensure community feedback is consistently integrated into the design and delivery of interventions. This role supports education, psychosocial well-being, and protection-related activities through consistent field engagement.
