Hiring of Training Service Providers (TSPs), TVET Institutes for conducting TVET trainings

Project: EMPOWER – Empowering Refugees and Host Communities for Economic Development

Location: Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Overview:

Alliance for Integrated Development (AID), in partnership with HOPE’87 and with funding support from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, is implementing the EMPOWER project, a 48-month initiative aimed at enhancing the livelihoods and socio-economic inclusion of Afghan refugees and host communities in District Peshawar, KP.

Key Deliverables of the TSP

• Established training labs/workshops in accessible locations.
• Deliver training per NAVTTC/TEVTA approved curricula.
• Hire experienced/qualified trainers (female trainers for female batches).
• Provide consumables, training materials, and manuals in local languages (Urdu/Pashto).
• Maintain attendance records (minimum 80% attendance required).
• Conduct pre- and post-tests, and monthly assessments.
• Facilitate certification of all trainees.
• Ensure job placement/apprenticeship linkages for the graduates.
• Submit detailed monthly progress reports and final completion reports.

Eligibility and Qualification of TSP

• Registered TVET institute/organization.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in vocational/skills training delivery.
• Proven experience in implementing donor-funded skills projects.
• Capacity to establish/operate training labs and workshops locally.
• Qualified trainers with trade-relevant diplomas/certifications.
• Ability to ensure gender-segregated classes and safe training environments.
• Knowledge of local languages (Pashto/Urdu) and refugee contexts.
