About RDO:
Rural Development Organization (RDO) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization committed to promoting social protection, livelihood development, and community resilience in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. RDO, in partnership with national and international organizations, implements various development projects focusing on women’s empowerment, governance, protection, and sustainable development.
Position Summary:
RDO invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Finance Officer at its Regional Office, Charsadda under the RAISE Project. The position requires a competent individual with strong financial management, taxation, and procurement skills to ensure transparent and efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain vouchers, ledgers, debit/credit entries, and other financial records.
- Ensure compliance with FBR tax laws, including calculation, deduction, and timely submission of taxes.
- Manage financial data using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Support the development of financial TORs, budgets, and financial tracking for project activities.
- Implement and monitor procurement processes in line with donor and organizational policies.
- Coordinate with HR and Procurement units for financial compliance and reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in audit preparations and respond to financial queries.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity in financial operations.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in NGO or development sector financial management.
- Sound knowledge of accounting standards, FBR regulations, and procurement policies.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software.
- Strong understanding of taxation processes, financial documentation, and reporting.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
Contract Duration:
Initially for one year, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
Salary: 70000 PKR
