About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Communications Officer based in Karachi to support our Communications Office in promoting and providing visibility to our programs and projects. You will play a key role in creating compelling content for websites, social media, newsletters, reports, videos, and other visual media. Field visits will also be part of your role to collect stories, photos, and videos that reflect the real impact of our initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Head of Communications in identifying and producing stories, visuals, and updates for donors, partners, and stakeholders.

Create, edit, and design communication materials including photos, videos, graphics, and social media content.

Implement visibility plans for projects in Sindh, ensuring high-quality, timely communication outputs.

Conduct field visits to gather first-hand information and visual content from project sites.

Maintain records of communications outputs and ensure compliance with organizational guidelines.

Collaborate with consultants, program staff, and other teams to develop creative and effective communication strategies.

Manage and grow social media platforms for organizational projects.
What We’re Looking For:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Visual Communication, or Graphic Design.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in communications, content creation, and visual storytelling.

Skills & Competencies:
-
Excellent writing and verbal communication in English and Urdu.

Proficiency in social media, photography, videography, and graphic design software (Canva, Adobe Suite, Corel, WordPress, etc.).

Strong organizational, analytical, and collaborative skills.
-
Ability to work independently and in a team, including during field visits.

Sensitivity to diverse communities, minorities, women, and vulnerable populations.
