Position Objectives:

  • The District Coordinator is responsible for efficient execution of all the components of PHEP program and operations that are being carried out by a respective PRCS District Branch.
  • Will be responsible for providing support and technical facilitation to the district team
  • Will supervise the program and operational related matters like planning and budgeting and the administrative management in coordination with Programme/Provincial Manager.

Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities

  1. Develop linkages and maintain liaison with district Government for smooth implementation of PRCS activities and coordinate with stakeholders for efficient delivery of relief services in disaster emergency situations.
  2. Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports and submission of the same to PHQ.
  3. Provide support to Programme Manager in HR and financial management and day to day administrative matters through verifying financial and administrative process.
  4. Provide support to district staff and volunteers in planning and implementing all PRCS activities in District & communities.
  5. Ensure preparation of the financial report in time and on prescribed format, verify the bills and put up to the Programme Manager for onward submission.
  6. Mobilization of the volunteers & establishment of youth clubs and maintaining youth database and other records.
  7. Mobilize and enrol volunteers every month from colleges, universities and community etc.
  8. Planning, organization, promotion and implementation of various programs and activities including Y&V, DM, Health & WASH, Livelihood fundraising and branch development activities.
  9. Conduct/ monitor Disaster Resilience Training for the registered volunteers through the Community DR Trainers.
  10. Submission of activity and progress reports for program and other activities.
  11. Support in conduction of all community level activities with field officers & volunteers to ensure quality & transparency
  12. Support in image building, fund raising and resource mobilization activities for branch financial sustainability.
  13. Any other task assigned by the Provincial Secretary

Education

  • Masters in Social Sciences from a recognized university

Experience

  • Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in development sector with humanitarian organization
  • Proficient in computer knowledge.
  • Excellent English writing/ speaking skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently without daily supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills a must
  • Experience in supervising project staff and volunteers
  • Experience in report writing, proposals and budgets
  • Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity of tasks and able to take initiative
  • Have previous experience working with non-profits and/or youth from various backgrounds

Skills/Knowledge

  • Strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required Ensure all staff members receive orientation and appropriate training in accordance with organizational standards

Travelling

  • Extensive to the targeted Communities.

  • Maximum age limit 45 Years
