Purpose of the Assignment:
The Field Facilitator will coordinate and implement field-level program activities, working closely with community groups, local authorities, and project teams to ensure smooth, equitable, and standards-aligned delivery of interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field assessments, identify target households or beneficiaries, and verify eligibility based on project criteria.
- Engage with community organizations, elders, and local leaders to raise awareness and coordinate program activities.
- Facilitate community meetings to explain program criteria, schedules, processes, and manage conflict resolution.
- Ensure beneficiary lists are accurate, inclusive, and approved by community representatives and project supervisors.
- Assist in identifying and setting up activity or distribution points, ensuring smooth logistics, crowd management, and adherence to organizational standards.
- Manage stock or resource inventory and coordinate movement of materials from storage to field locations.
- Maintain proper documentation of activities, including signatures/thumbprints of beneficiaries or other verification methods.
- Support project teams in implementing activities or distributions from multiple sources while ensuring coordination and accountability.
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Development Studies, or a relevant field. (Intermediate-level education acceptable with relevant field experience.)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in community mobilization, field facilitation, or humanitarian assistance.
- Strong understanding of local contexts, languages, and cultural practices relevant to assigned locations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and willing to travel extensively to field locations.
