A national non-profit organization operating in Peshawar - KP, is looking for qualified, dedicated and experienced individuals to fill the following Positions for a donor-funded short-term project of WASH & Shelter, in Peshawar-KP.
Project Manager (1 Position)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Project Management, Public Health, or Social Sciences.
- Minimum 7 years of experience managing WASH, Shelter, or humanitarian projects.
- Proven track record in donor-funded project management (e.g., UN, EU, USAID).
- Strong leadership, budgeting, and reporting skills.
- Fluency in English and Urdu/Pashto (preferred).
Job Description:
The Project Manager will serve as field level team for the project and will be primarily responsible to;
- Supervise project staff and oversee field-level activities.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for Shelter and WASH activities.
- Prepare progress reports as per donor requirements on periodic basis.
- Coordinate the distribution of cash assistance and in-kind support for Shelter and WASH improvements.
- Engage with government authorities, local organizations, and community representatives to facilitate project activities.
- Ensure regular communication and coordination with relevant stakeholders, including SAFRON, CCAR, CAR-KP, PHED, and local municipal authorities.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor the quality and progress of Shelter and WASH interventions.
- Oversee the community need assessment activities and consultations.
- Promote community participation and ownership of project activities.
- Establish and manage a complaint and feedback mechanism to address community concerns.
- Ensure compliance with approved donor policies, procedures, and standards.
- Identify and manage project risks, including environmental, social, and security risks.
- Ensure that all activities promote climate resilience and environmental sustainability
