Position Objective: Provide operational and technical support to the PMU and implementing partners to ensure timely, quality delivery of project activities. Act as the primary liaison between partners and the PMU for day-to-day implementation, monitoring, and reporting.

Relevant Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Project Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of overall experience and 2 years in relevant field in experience in humanitarian project implementation and partner coordination.

 Job Description:

Mission 1 Implementation Support and Coordination

  • Support partners in executing DIPs and activity schedules; track progress against milestones.
  • Conduct regular field monitoring visits and provide technical feedback to partners and PM.
  • Facilitate coordination between partners and support functions (Logistics, Finance, HR) to resolve operational bottlenecks.
  • Hold bi-monthly meetings with partners regarding project progress and challenges.
  • Facilitate internal project review meetings among various department heads.

Mission 2 Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including activity reports, attendance sheets, beneficiary lists, and photographic evidence.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and inputs for donor reporting.
  • Ensure timely archiving of project documents per ACF SOPs.

Mission 3 Capacity Building and Technical Assistance

  • Organize and support training and capacity-building events for partner staff on implementation, reporting, and compliance.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching to partner field teams to improve quality and adherence to standards.

Mission 4 Community Engagement and Representation

  • Support partners in community mobilization, stakeholder mapping, and coordination with local authorities.
  • Represent ACF in local coordination meetings and technical forums as delegated by PM.
  • Support beneficiary selection processes and ensure transparency and accountability.

Mission 5 Logistics and Procurement Support

  • Coordinate with Logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods and services to partners.
  • Support partner procurement processes and ensure compliance with ACF procurement rules.

 Mission 6: Ensure compliance with ACFs gender equality, child protection sensitivity and Safeguarding policies

  • Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender, Child Protection and other safeguarding policies  
  • Implement all work related activities with a gender, inclusion and child protection lens
  • Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability
